Privacy Policy

Account and profile data — your name, email address, username, profile photo, bio, current city, social links, and any other information you add to your profile.

Content you create — reviews, community posts, travel log entries, planned trips, and saved places.

Usage data — pages visited, features used, searches, and how you interact with the platform.

Technical data — IP address, browser type, device type, and referrer URL.

Cookies — session tokens to keep you signed in, and preference data. See the Cookies section below.

• Running the platform — serving pages, saving your content, managing your account and authentication.
• Personalizing your experience — showing relevant cities and connecting you with members in similar locations.
• Communicating with you — account confirmations, notifications you've opted into, and important service updates.
• Improving the product — understanding how members use features to make them better.
• Safety — detecting abuse, fraud, or violations of our community rules.

We do not sell your data.

We use a small set of third-party services to run the platform. Each handles data only as needed to provide their service:

• Supabase — database and authentication. Privacy policy
• Vercel — hosting and edge delivery. Privacy policy
• Cloudflare R2 — media and file storage. Privacy policy
• Resend — email delivery. Privacy policy
• Anthropic — AI features (listing summaries, content suggestions). Privacy policy

We don't share your data with advertisers or data brokers.

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain it.

You can access, update, or delete your data at any time through your account settings. To request a full copy of your data or a complete deletion, email privacy@nomadbabeapp.com.

If you're in the EU, you have additional rights under GDPR: the right to restrict or object to certain processing, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

If you're a California resident, you have rights under CCPA: the right to know what data we hold, the right to request deletion, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising those rights.

We use cookies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We don't use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking session cookies will log you out of the platform.

Our infrastructure is based in the United States. If you're in the EU or a region with data transfer restrictions, your data is transferred to and processed in the US when you use Nomad Babe. Where required, these transfers are covered by standard contractual clauses.

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure credential storage, and access controls to protect your data. No online service is completely secure — if you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at hello@nomadbabeapp.com.

Nomad Babe is for people 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, email us and we'll remove it promptly.

We'll post updates here and note the new effective date at the top of this page. For material changes, we'll also notify you by email before they take effect.
